Ross Perots' "giant sucking sound" comes home to roost ?

After everything that this administration has done to "We the People", I believe it is about time that Barry should be able to show us what he will do for "We the People".  The "lame duck" Congress is now in session.  They know that they have been beaten pretty badly in the last election (not as badly as I would have liked), yet, as I see it, they are going to shove their agenda through anyway.  Even in their last days they are still determined to make it hurt even more.  I thought that maybe I would see a more Constitutional resolve from the people that lost their seats.  I thought that I would almost be able to hear the newly elected, screaming in the background way off in the distance.  Low, but there.....trying to get their voices heard early......but I don't even hear them.  What I think I am starting to hear from them is.......back-pedaling.  You know the kind......when you know you're in rough waters....turned the corner.....and then you see something you weren't quite expecting ( lots of splashing), slight changes of heart, and more than a few whews.  They better get their sh** together.  I don't feel like I can afford another $3,000.00/year in Federal taxes for nothing.  Government is growing larger and larger.  So is the debt and the deficit.  Social Security is in intensive care, and medicaid/care is swelling so fast it will need a fasciotomy to save it.  I know Ted will disagree, but as long as the people that are closest to using it, and those who are beyond self help are covered.......those entitlements need to go.  We need to treat it like the cancer it is. Radiation and chemotherapy will shrink it to a manageable state.  I know the pain will be horrendous but we can tough it out.  Then it can either be excised altogether, or managed correctly by a private company, and for the benefit of all.

Barry.  If you don't get off your socialist, ideological, fascist podium, and try to be the  American, that you want us to believe you are, and probably aren't ( but I digress ), you will almost certainly push our demise as a great nation further down the rabbit hole.  Do what you were elected to do and stop this nonsense before it is too late.  I know you can.............unless this is what you wanted all along.

If these idiots are allowed to keep killing us before they leave office it will be very difficult to reverse.  most assuredly with the lessening resolve of the new people coming into office.  Although, there is nothing we can do at this point but to accept what they do, and hope that the newbies can fix it, we should not allow our anger to fade.  Instead, we should save it.  Feed it, keeping it strong for the next battle which is sure to come in January.  Like Benjamin Franklin said after being asked what kind of Government they had given us, "a Republic if you can keep it."  Can we keep it?  Is it too far gone?  Do we even know what it is we are losing?
I know I do.  I will do my best to keep and protect it.  I will use my voice, my pen, and whatever else might be called for in its defense.  Will you?

TORN

Wikileaks has posted allot of documents that have pissed off allot of government people.  I'm not so sure that is a bad thing.  While I don't necessarily agree with his tactics, and I don't understand what he might be trying to accomplish.  I kind of like what it is doing.  The chaos he (Julian Assange ?) is creating may however become a productive source of information to accomplish the goal I have to shrink the U.S. Government.  While it is not my goal to subvert it, I do want all the information that I can get my hands on to make it behave "Constitutionally".  If anything that is in this "illegally" obtained and released material can be used to bring the Constitution of this great Nation back to the forefront of our own National debate, the better.  The more ammunition I can bring to bear against this Socialist/Communist loving administration, the better I am going to feel about going on the attack of it.  A friend of mine from a social networking site doesn't like my approach, and often says that my facts are flawed ( I will hereafter refer to him as "Ted").  While I do try my best, I am not perfect.  I will make mistakes, and, anyone who knows me, knows that I Fu** up more than my fair
share.  I would however like to say here that I respect Teds' opinion and welcome his correction from the left (dark) side of politics.

Back to Wikileaks (?).  While I do believe he is guilty of espionage, as a non-citizen of this country, he cannot be bound by our Constitution, and there-by cannot be charged with treason.  As for shutting down the Wikileaks website,  I believe that if the United States Government attempts this, the Government will be in violation of the first amendment of the Constitution.  Freedom of speech.  Censorship is not something that this country is founded on.  It may be a course that we are actually persuing, but "WE THE PEOPLE" have the responsibility as "THE SOVEREIGN" to shut that attempt down.  The Obama adimistration may even sanction him for assasination under the new rules/regulations that now run our country instead of congressionally written and approved laws.  This would also be very unconstitutional ( due process).  I may or may not agree with what he is attempting to do, or what he is saying in the process, but I do, and will defend his right to do it.  As if I didn't have enough reason already to distrust our overly large and obese government, this does in fact give me some justification for my feelings.  My gut tells me that reading these documents will shed more and more lite on an out of control U.S. Government.  I am not sorry, but I do relish the thought of charges being filed (Constitutionally) against any Government official who is found guilty of violating their oath to protect and defend the same.  Starting with the President himself.  I can only hope that we get enough information that can be substantiated to lock them all away for a very long time.  In fact, I think that a Zoo should be established, so that these animals can be displayed (humanely) in the very swamp that they created for us....."WE THE PEOPLE".   (An example of a display):
TOUR GUIDE: and here we have Charlie Rangle.  He was chairman of the house ways and means committee.  This committee is responsible for writing the tax codes and laws for the country.  He was found guilty and eventually censured (not yet but hopefully) and should have been expelled from Congress for violating the same tax laws that he helped to write.  While he sits here, any of you violating the same laws would be sitting in prison, or left indebted to the Federal government for the rest of you life.......Notice the ear to ear grin

Fair Tax

I can't figure out why the fair tax idea is so controversial.  I believe it is one of the only ways to bring about "fairness" in the tax system.  The progressive system that we currently have is obviously dysfunctional, and at times, irrational.  The tax code is extremely long, and confusing.  It changes constantly, and is subject to interpretation, if you can even understand it.  It is written by tax cheats, for tax cheats, and it's complexity is only dwarfed by the health care legislation, which is nothing more than another tax in and of its self.  The fair tax, as I understand it, would add a percentage rate tax on any, and all purchases made by every single consumer.  This will eliminate almost all "tax deductions" putting every person on an equal playing field.  Even illegal aliens would pay their "fair" share, easing the burden of tax payers of the existing system for their health care, education, and welfare expenses.  Thus lightening the load on the social security administration trying to keep up with stolen social security numbers and identity theft.

The Value added tax ( V.A.T. ) that has also been floated, will not replace the existing tax code but rather, it would augment it.  This tax is widely used in Europe, and it is atrociously high.  This tax is also a percentage rate based tax that taxes just about every product or service provided as it goes down the production line piece by piece until the final product, or service is brought to market.  This forces the manufacturer, or provider, to pay this tax on every step of production as the value of the product or service is increased.  Then ( of coarse ) they pass the added cost onto the consumer, who then is forced to pay higher prices to cover the added cost of doing business.  This is done on top of the progressive tax system, and while it is proven to add money to the coffers of the taxing authority, it is a hidden tax.  The people paying it don't actually know how much of what they are paying is actual cost, or the taxes being levied on the product or service they have just purchased.  This tax is also subject to constant change.  Making it difficult to regulate or control.  An UN fair tax.

The only reasons that I see that this is such a hard sell to the powers that be is that 1), they would have to first abolish the sixteenth amendment to the constitution.  This amendment establishes the income tax.  2). Amending the constitution is a long and drawn out process that requires a majority of the states to sign on to the process.  While I don't see that it would be a difficult sell, the effort such an undertaking would require by both houses is probably too much work for them to bear.  As we know, they don't actually want to EARN the money we pay them to represent us, they would rather stay at home and just cash the checks.  3). The Internal Revenue Service would lose Jobs, and the jobs that were left, would be much easier to do, thus cutting the hours required to do it, saving us ( the tax payer )  more money ( not in their best interest ).  Of course this theory becomes a little more complicated if Obama care stays in effect.  But I digress.

It is my belief that the fair tax would not only bring more money to the government, but help "We The People" shrink it in both size and scope.  The reduction of the size of the I.R.S. alone would bring about far less intrusion into the lives of "We The People", (something the Obama administration hates).  The increase in the tax revenue generated by the "fair" tax ( more people would actually pay tax ) would also make it easier to keep Social security funded ( if we can just find a way to keep congresses greedy hands out of the pot).  Medicaid/care would be easier to provide, easier to regulate, easier to administrate.  Again making administrative cuts in these areas possible, again shrinking Government, and saving money.  But then reducing the size of the deficit would have to be a priority.  It is not.  I think that the implementation of the "fair tax" alone, could bring about a balanced budget, lower deficits, and smaller, less intrusive government, and bring liberty back the the citizens of the United State of America.

Frustration

I just don't know where to start.
I have not been writing here because I just don't know where to start.  I guess the frustration begins with the President, but it goes deeper and farther than that.  Since the elections in 2008 I have become angry.  I don't like to be angry, but in one way or another I still  am.  I could make a list.  In fact I have, but it would take forever, and be counter productive at this point to go through it.  I was really hoping that we ( the Republican party ) would take a few more Senate seats last week.  I wanted very much to see Harry Reid go down in flames, that didn't happen.  I can't prove it, but my gut tells me something shady happened there.  They say that it is because Sharon Angle had some pretty aggressive anti-illegal immigration adds running ( I haven't seen them ) giving Harry the "Hispanic Vote".  I don't buy it.  It still smells bad, or to quote Glenn Beck, "It stinks on ice".   I wanted to see Carly Fiorina win by a landslide.....that didn't happen either.  While I didn't want to see a total take-over of both houses ( that would have set the scene for Republican blame ), I did want to see just a few more seats won in the Senate.
Nancy Pelosi........She just wont go away.  Now she wants to be minority leader.........She's kinda like Herpes.  You can treat the outbreaks, and some of the symptoms, but there is no cure.  The Democratic party  ( like the body ) is even turning against her, but she just keeps on coming back.  Her endless attacks on the Constitution and the American people will one day bring that party to its knees.  I do however believe that her attaining the minority leadership role will be good for the next Congress.  She will give the Republican party something to hide behind while they weed out the progressives they have hiding amongst them ( Lindsay Grahm for one).  With any luck, she will bring about enough in-fighting that some of these more conservative Dem's will vote the "right" way for a change.

While the country exsanguinates it's treasure due to an ever enlarging government, the first lady dances with her children in India, and the Fed monetizes our debt.  I believe they are calling it "quantitative easement".
Doesn't anyone else think this is insane?  This trip to  Asia alone is costing the tax payers millions.  The Bush tax cuts they are going to allow to expire will mean huge tax increases for every American in a time where 1 in every 10 people are out of work and being threatened with foreclosure.  The President says that America cannot afford to borrow more money to pay for the tax cuts to continue.  That doesn't make any sense.  If the tax cuts remain in effect, the Government is still not collecting those funds.  Why is he trying to tell us that we can't afford not to collect money that we are already not collecting?  Because he knows he's going to borrow it any way, and he's already looking to the tax payer to pay for more borrowed money that he acknowledges he knows we can't afford to pay back.  That train of thought is not only irrational, it is treasonous.  Bankrupting this nation might serve the purposes of himself and George Sorros but not that of the Nation and the Republic.  Common sense will tell you that messing with a hornets nest is going to get you stung......Repeatedly.  I know he wont go away willingly,  Thank God for Presidential term limits.
